Melissa Alonso is as our new Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations.
With a proven track record in marketing environments and corporate sectors overseeing budgets in the millions and collaborating with Fortune 500 companies, Melissa brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our practice.
Melissa will be at the helm of all our internal and external marketing initiatives, developing and executing strategies and campaigns to elevate the Sound Advice Counseling brand and its services. Her expertise extends to overseeing public networks, platforms, and advertising, ensuring that our practice maintains a strong and impactful presence in the market.
Melissa’s commitment to continued education is evident in her academic achievements, holding an Associate’s degree in Marketing and Management from Cumberland County College, a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Wilmington University, and entrepreneurship and training certifications from the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey and Cornell University.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Melissa is a passionate explorer and traveler, whether domestically or internationally, often accompanied by her husband and son. Her love for diverse cuisines and eagerness to educate herself on various countries and backgrounds showcase her curiosity and open-mindedness.
Furthermore, Melissa is deeply involved in philanthropy, dedicating her time to volunteer for the LEGIT Inc. organization, exemplifying her commitment to giving back to the community.
