You can schedule an appointment by calling our office at 973-797-9707, sending us an email, or scheduling online.

Yes! Our services are currently ONLY via telehealth. We use Simple Practices’ HIPAA-compliant video platform for the privacy of your session.

 

Once we receive confirmation coverage from your insurance carrier and all other pertinent information is collected, including a form of payment for co-pay collection, we will provide you via email with the intake forms from our practice platform; Simple Practice so you can electronically fill them out. Once completed, you will be ready to see the therapist on the scheduled day and time.

During your first therapy session, you can expect to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your personal and medical history, and your goals for treatment. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and to get to know your therapist.

We offer a wide range of personalized, evidence-based therapies, including, but not limited to: cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT)mindfulness-based therapies (MBCT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Appointments, Fees & Scheduling

Our cancellation policy requires that all cancellations be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so by contacting us via phone or email at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel within the 24-hour window or fail to show up for your appointment, you may be charged a cancellation fee. Thank you for your understanding!

Our fees vary depending on the type of therapy and the length of the session. We offer a range of payment options, including sliding scale fees (for out-of-pocket clients) and we work with most major insurance carriers.

Our therapy sessions typically last 45-60 minutes, but we also offer longer sessions for those who need more intensive support.

The frequency of therapy sessions will depend on your individual needs and treatment plan. Generally, we recommend coming to therapy on a weekly basis, but this can be adjusted based on your progress and goals.

It’s important to find a therapist you feel comfortable working with. If you don’t feel a good fit with your therapist, we would gladly accommodate you with a new therapist within our practice who may be a better match for you.

You can discuss bringing a family member or friend to therapy sessions with your therapist. Some therapists may allow a support person to attend sessions, while others may recommend family or couples therapy instead.

If medication is part of your treatment plan, your therapist may refer you to a psychiatrist or medical doctor who can prescribe medication. It’s important to discuss any concerns or questions you may have about medication with your mental health professional.
