With a blend of humor and compassion, Daniel Erbach, MSW, LCSW, brings over a decade of experience to the mental health field. A firm believer in the Socratic credo, “The unexamined life is not worth living,” he is passionate about helping clients overcome barriers to achieving their dreams and living fulfilling lives.
A graduate of Rutgers University, Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Drama from the New Brunswick campus and a Master of Social Work from the Newark campus. His unique academic background informs his creative and empathetic approach to counseling, incorporating elements of narrative exploration and self-reflection into his therapeutic work.
Daniel further deepened his expertise by graduating from the NJ School of Ministry, where he developed a keen interest in communication styles and conflict resolution—skills he views as foundational for building healthy relationships both at home and in the workplace. This insight fuels his interest in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), a modality that emphasizes the role of relationships in addressing emotional challenges such as depression, anxiety, and addiction.
Outside of his professional life, Daniel is a family-oriented individual who values balance, believing long-term happiness stems from maintaining clear priorities. A proponent of the “healthy body, healthy mind” philosophy, he stays active on the court and maintains a nutritious lifestyle, striving to lead by example for his clients.
Known for his friendly demeanor and thoughtful insights, Daniel creates a supportive environment for clients to navigate challenges, resolve conflicts, and work toward their goals.
